Full Description
A ruined building, possibly a shieling hut, at Lochan Gruagaich, Ardnamurchan.
The site was visited and photographed by J Haylett in April 2014. What may be a large shieling hut built against a very old stone wall, much damaged, which trends roughly N-S, with the result that the hut is D-shaped. On the southeast side there is what may be a narrow entrance, and to the north of this is a circular pit within the shieling's wall which may have been used for an oven/cooking fire. <1>
