Full Description
A farmstead or small settlement, at Lochan Gruagaich, Ardnamurchan.
The site was visited and photographed by J Haylett in April 2014, with a number of features recorded. To the south of Lochan Gruagaich, a settlement consisting of houses, byres, enclosure, stone ‘circle’, field walls, fields with rig and furrow, a spring, etc. There is a head dyke which bounds the site on the south, east and west sides. The northern side adjacent to Lochan Grugaich is currently forested. <1>
