Full Description

A Mesolithic occupation site at Camas Daraich, Skye.

The site was discovered as a scatter of lithics during initial site visits following the finding of a Mesolithic occupation site to the south by S Birch and M Wildgoose in 1999 after the construction of a new access track by the local crofters. It was noted that this site had been totally destroyed by the new access track. <1>
