The former west lodge for the house of 'Clunes', Kirkhill. Now heaviliy modernised.
West Lodge: This name is Is applied to a gate lodge, at the west entrance to Clunes, it is one story high, slated and in good repair Property of D. Cameron Esqr Clunes. <1>
For the house see MHG47418, for the East Lodge see MHG62244.
The original name for the property was Fingask. The name 'Clunes' was given to the house by Donald Cameron after his old home in Lochaber. Donald Cameron also owned Fingask Mains. <2>
