Full Description
A boathouse, naust and slipway at Laig, Eigg.
A boat shed, a naust and a slipway are situated by the shore about 400m NW of Laig farm. The boat shed (190) measures 4.9m from N to S by 2.6m within a drystone wall 0.7m in thickness and 1.1m in height. It is set into the slope at the S and open to the N. The naust (191) stands 15m to the E. Set in to the slope by 0.2m, it measures 5.5m from N to S by 2.6m within a stone revetment and is open to the N. A cleared slip extends 30m to the NNW.
