Full Description
An archaeological walkover survey of the proposed site for a hydro scheme at Allt Dearg, near Achterneed, Strathpeffer, was carried out by AOC in 2017.
Site 4: Densely bracken and grasses covered remains of a boulder structure situated next to a large boulder pile. Overlain by dense bracken and grasses and difficult to define as a result. Possibly 5m east-west by 3m internally. Difficult to define the extent due to vegetation cover. <1>
