Full Description
Area of previous cultivation and clearance cairns. This area is notable for the care that has been taken in the construction of the clearance cairns (Photo no. 7). Although with rubble fill, the outer skin of the cairns has been built with a rough drystone technique, allowing for greater height and stability in the cairn, and the covering of less ground area.<1>
