Full Description
A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.
Running along the break of slope above the cliffs is a trackway, c 2 m wide and with a grassed over surface. This is recorded as a footpath on the OS 1:10 000 map sheet. The path leads from the beach south of Geodha na h-Airbhe to Achiemore House. <1>
