Full Description

A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.

A mortared stone bridge which carries the waste water outflow across the burn that flows on to the sandy beach. This bridge joins the line of a stone encased pipe at either end and is 3.4 m long, 0.58 m wide and stands to 1.4 m above the burn. <1>
