Site of the former WWII HF/VHF transmitter for RAF Tain Airfield.
Detailed plans of the airfield dating to 1945-6 are held by the Royal Air Force Museum. A digital copy (albeit undated) is held in the HER collections. The site is shown and labelled with its structures numbered on the plan. <1>
