Full Description

A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.

A narrow boulder-and-concrete jetty which is 9 m long and 1 m wide. About 7.5 m of this jetty is well constructed with dressed stone-edging. Some of the stone work at the water side of the jetty is coming loose. <1>
