Full Description

A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.

In a gulley running E-W down a steep slope to the Loch is a cairn measuring 2.2 m NE-SW by 2.4 m and which is composed of angular stones 0.2 m in diameter, with smaller stones interspersed. This feature stands to 0.5 m high.<1>
