Full Description
A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.
On the east side of the Kyle is a stone-dyke running NW-SE along a steep bank above a burn. This dyke stops at the steep slope above the beach and is very tumbled and overgrown. The line turns at the top of the slope to run NE for 2 m. The maximum height of this feature is two-three courses or 0.35 m. <1>
