Description

An archaeological assessment (including a desk-based assessement and walkover survey) was undertaken by AOC Archaeology prior to April 2005 in advance of a wind farm development at Fairburn, Urray, Ross and Cromarty. No new sites were recorded. <1> Note: A gazetteer of sites, an impact assessment of development on scheduled monuments and survey plans are currently the only data available for this Event. A re-survey of the same area in 2008 by AOC Archaeology Group (see EHG3060) recorded some new sites, however.
