Description
Seven trial trenches were opened on the site of a new house adjacent to the location of a cist burial unearthed during ditching in 1945. The area of trenching comprised 25% of the total site area. No further cist burials were uncovered, possible plough marks and a cut feature being the only archaeological features identified. <1>
