EHG5606 - Photographic survey - Ardross Mains

A photographic survey of the derelict buildings of Ardross Mains was undertaken by NORR in 2017 in advance of proposals for the restoration, conversion and reuse of the buildings as a distillery. <1> A second set of photographs was subsequently taken in 2017 as access to some buildings in the steading was impossible due to their dangerously unstable structures. In most cases the internal areas of some buildings were photogarphed prior to the roofs being removed. In other instances the survey was undertaken once the roof was removed and the building stabilised. <2>
