Full Description
The remains of several four-post structures were exposed during excavation by Headland Archaeology in 2005 at Culduthel, Inverness. Structures 1, 23, 27 and 28 were found in different parts of the site. Two, 23 and 27, were close to hut circles (see MHG49950). One of the postholes in Structure 1 contained sherds of prehistoric pottery from two vessels. <1>
Further analysis and final dating of the finds assemblage and general site are awaited.
