Full Description
Remains of a farmstead or small township at Glen Ullinish, Skye. It consists of a number of buildings and areas of fields within dykes. Some of the buildings and dykes have been recorded previously during a walkover survey in 2020-22 by CFA Archaeology in advance of an OHL reinforcement project. The features are visible on vertical aerial photographs. <1> <2>
NOTE: The spatial extent is approximate only as it is impossible to discern where one farnstead/township ends and another begins where dykes and fields are contiguous [IS-L 01/08/2024].
