Full Description
A rapid coastal zone assessment survey was conducted by GUARD in the Autumn of 1997 commissioned by Historic Scotland from the Viking and Early Settlement Archaeological Research Project based at the University of Glasgow.
Running E-W down the slope at the west side of the Kyle is a drainage ditch which is 2 m wide and runs for approximately 70 m. This feature is silting up and should be examined with the possible quarry site to the N <1>
