Full Description
On the OS 1st edition map (1876), the Pavilion Gardens - though not named as such - are shown as planted with trees and with a network of paths. By the time of the 2nd edition map (1906), a curling pond, a small building which was a bandstand, and two bowling greens had been laid out. <1>
