Description

An archaeological walkover survey was carried out on 8th, 9th and 15th February 2010 to assess the nature and extent of any archaeology likely to be affected by any future forestry works. The surveyors recorded twenty-one archaeological features reflecting prehistoric and post-Medieval settlement in the area. Recommendations were made for measures to protect the archaeology prior to and during forestry operations. <1>
